Not my SR20, but I saw a RAV4 without a spare tire for the first time a few days ago. It looks so strange this way. Like a completely different car.
Also saw a Suzuki Grand Vitara with the same thing going on, a year or so ago.
What’s next? An Xterra without the bulge?

In Holland, most of them are without a spare tire on the back. No idea why, but its actually been quite a while since I’ve seen one with an external spare tire.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

Do you know if they have space-savers in the trunk? Apparently, in the US at least, these ones came with run-flats and no spare whatsoever. I can’t imagine that would be standard overseas, though.

I believe they had the spares mounted underneath the cargo area, on the outside.

Oh, those are nothing... Ever seen one of these?
I saw one coming the other way on the road and was like, “wtf is that?!”. Yeah, I had to google it. Had absolutely no clue what it was, all I knew was that it was a Suzuki and I didn’t know they made anything for the US or Canadian market bigger than a car. Turns out it is just a restyled car built by another manufacturer, but still a really odd sighting.

The Vitara looks like a Cherokee at the rear without the wheel cover. Alot of cars with that look weird as hell. Rav 4 looks so Asian, like without the tire it somehow looks more japanese market or like a Chinese knockoff

Toyota actually did ads about the tire being gone:

That Skee-Lo at the end made it.
Was this a Superbowl commercial? It definitely has the makings of one.

Yup, the Nissan Frontier Suzuki Equator! I’ve seen a couple of them around. Very odd-looking things.

Honestly I kind of like the design of these more than the Frontier...

There’s a whole series of them I think at least one was an SB ad, yeah.
